Montreal, October 5, 2010 – The Canadian
Tenors—the quartet featuring Victor Micallef
(Toronto), Clifton Murray (Port McNeil BC), Remigio Pereira (Quebec
City) and Fraser Walters (Vancouver) will be in Montreal on
Wednesday, December 15, at Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place
des Arts. As part of their North American tour of several major
cities, the four tenors with the distinctively unique voices will
present songs from their Christmas album, The Perfect
Gift, including O Holy Night and Silent
Night, as well as classics from their first self-titled album,
including Because We Believe and Belle.
The story so far
The Canadian Tenors are a true success story: their first
album went gold in Canada and was released worldwide by Universal
Music. The quartet performs in English, French, Spanish and
Italian, which reflects their multicultural origins. They have been
fortunate to work with renowned producers such as Quiz and Larossi
(Il Divo), Bob Ezrin (Peter Gabriel and Pink Floyd), Steve Thompson
(Madonna), Jeff Wolpert (Loreena McKennitt) and Sarah McLachlan.
They have performed in some of the largest concert halls, sung for
leading world figures (including Dalai Lama and Bill Clinton) and
shared the stage with many artists (Wyclef Jean, Blue Rodeo, David
Foster and John Legend). The Canadian Tenors have
clearly enjoyed a highly impressive career so far.
On December 15, The Canadian Tenors will be
performing at Place des Arts, treating their audience to a
spectacular, enchanting evening, just days before Christmas.
