The professional dancers, musicians and choristers of the troop enthral the public in a festive demonstration of Russian folk music, with powerful voices and traditional instruments, all with a perfect authenticity. The artists present a lyric history, but also military songs, the Cossacks being originally a military force. The dancers immortalize the tradition, manipulating sabres, daggers and whips to the sound of drumbeats. As the Opening Act, besides the traditional military marches, the Military Police Band of Espirito Santo from Brazil integrates in its musical programs themes of Samba and Frevo. The Band will share the stage with the Royal 22nd Regimental Band. The affection that the Band carry for the Latin rhythms will certainly charm the public.
